Showing Appreciation

Love Languages + Digital Gifting

Everyone wants to feel appreciated and loved. In fact, people who feel appreciated give more than expected. This year, show the love with a gift you’ll both enjoy.

What’s a Love Language?

In short, we all give and receive love differently. Do you prefer quality time with your spouse? Love receiving a sentimental note? Or do you love running errands with a loved one?

Understanding your preferred love language can help strengthen relationships; platonic and romantic alike.

This year, show the love with a gift that covers all 5 love languages.

Acts of Kindness: For these people, actions speak louder than words. If this is you or a loved one, show the love by completing the family cookbook that has been on the to-do list or do some additional chores around the house!

Words of Appreciation:  This language uses words to affirm other people. Show the love by writing a sweet note or by regularly communicating your appreciation.

Quality Time: This language is all about giving other people your attention. Put down your phone, schedule time to lay around (ironic, right?), and turn your undivided attention to them.

Physical Gifts: For some people, what makes them feel loved the most is receiving a gift. A surprise souvenir from a trip,  a new journal,  or a gift card can warm their hearts.

Physical Touch: Nothing speaks more deeply than an appropriate hug. If this is you or a loved one, show the love with frequent hugs, hand-holding, and showing affection to make your partner happy.
