What's Your Story?
Handling the Unknown
People worry about countless things. Relationships, conflicts, money, jobs, health and decisions are some major sources of anxiety. All of these involve uncertainty about the future. Worrying about the future is really fearing the unknown.
Worry can consume a person’s life. It is harmful to the mind, emotions and body. Worrying is also a waste of time and energy, and it takes away the joy of living in the present. But, nobody has to be consumed with anxiety about the future.
There is someone who can enable you to overcome your worry. God is the only one who knows the future, and He has a plan for your life. He also wants to know you in a personal relationship. When you have a relationship with God, you have the opportunity to be filled with His peace and be freed from worry.
The peace that God gives to those who know Him is so much greater than any peace you could experience apart from Him. The Bible says, “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you” (1 Peter 5:7). You can experience peace about the future by trusting Him completely.
