What's Your Story?
Resigning regrets
The past affects how a person lives in the present. Regret of personal choices often leaves people wondering, “What if I had…?” or thinking, “My life would look so different if I had just… .”
What if it were possible to walk away from the past? How would your outlook be shaped if you were free from the shame and mistakes of your history? What if you could start over again, looking forward to a future free of “what ifs”?
God offers this freedom from the past. He promises that if you put your trust in Him, you can become a new creation. The Bible says, “They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, New Living Translation)
Although you may have to deal with consequences from your past actions, God offers healing and strength and will guide you in a new direction. The past will always be part of you, but it doesn’t have to define who you are.
